Hasegawa 1/32 P-40K - Daniel Sauter - Westminster, Colorado

This is the Hasegawa 1/32 P-40K built out-of-the-box with the exception of the CMK resin seat and instrument panel. Although a difficult build due to the different inserts that Hasegawa uses to produce multiple variants, the kit goes together nicely and really looks the part when completed. The kit is finished in Model Master sand over neutral grey shot through my Omni Matrix airbrush, then followed up with the excellent BarracudaCals decals. Weathering is completed with an acrylic wash, chalk pastels, and small amounts of acrylic burnt umber and raw sienna. Aerial wires added from E-Z Line, and a spare photo-etch ring and bead sight round out what was an enjoyable build overall. I'll absolutely be building more P-40s, and I'll be using BarracudaCals for any build possible in the future.
