Tamiya 1/32 P-51 Mustang - by Pat Sharpe - Gerber, California

This is what we call a typical Tamiya kit - outstanding! Metal finish was with Alclad, and was my first ever use of this product. It won't be my last. Panel washes were a mix of Payne's Grey and Burnt Umber oil paints. The decals are from Eagle Cals, and are of 4th FGP Capt. Ted Lyons of Mesa, Arizona. I chose these markings as they were not too flashy and would not take away from the natural lines and shape of the P-51D. I used the Barracuda Studios cockpit placards, canopy rails, canopy crank handle and Instrument panel which really brings the interior to life, also the Barracuda Studios tires which were a perfect fit to the kit wheels. In all the years I've used Cooper Details and Barracuda Studios products Iv'e never had a fit problem or any issues with the quality of Roy's work. The first place I look when starting a new project is Barracuda Studios!
