Tamiya 1/32 P-51D Mustang - Ron O'Neal - Round Rock, Texas

I got the BarracudaCals P-51 stencil decals on Saturday, and wrapped up the cockpit Sunday evening. I’m really impressed with what you’ve done, and hope to see more of these. I like decal stencils better than color photo etch.

My cockpit is an early version, with the K-14 sight added. Even thought the IFF box wasn’t shown in the instructions, I found photos that indicated that the IFF systems was installed on -5 Mustangs, so I added that to the cockpit. Mine also has the early version APS-13, and the early style lower instrument panel. I was able to adapt the decals on your sheet to fit these variations – at least close enough that unless you have an OptiVisor, it’s hard to tell.
