Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk. IXc - by Wolf Buddee - Abbotsford, British Columbia

Tamiya's amazing 1/32nd Spitfire Mk IXc cockpit has been detailed up with some scratch-built plumbing and BarracudaCast's resin cockpit interior set, seat, cockpit entry door, and for the main landing gear, BarracudaCast's resin five spoke wheels. These have had the kit wheel covers added and photo-etch slotted screw heads used to represent the fasteners.

The instrument panel was modified to accept Airscale's instrument decals and most of the data stencils came from BarracudaCast's interior set. The artificial horizon decal also came from the BarracudaCast. In reality, the opening in Tamiya's photo-etch piece for the blind flying panel should be carefully enlarged with a small round file as it's too small compared to photos of the real thing. I also embellished the instrument bezels on the blind flying panel using fine copper wire wrapped around a Waldron punch. Any appropriately sized drill bit would work too. The BarracudaCast seat was enhanced with the addition of RB Productions seat-belts.
